The discs we made for H-D bikes offer a better coefficient of friction and heat dissipation. The steel used receive a special treatment making them more resistant than an original disc and much more than a cast-iron one. This treatment enables the use of the most efficient sintered pads of the market. The floating mounting gives to the disc a better position in the calliper. The result is a more efficient braking and a less irregular wear on the pads.
Unlike the cast-iron disc, the friction track does not rust. Its setting on its lighter anodized aluminium hub can only make your bike prettier. These discs equip all the MECATWIN bikes now.
